Riza recently joined Al Alawi & Co in the Banking & Finance department having spent over 10 years practising in prestigious law firms in Malaysia, Kuwait and Oman. Riza graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia with a double degree in accounting and law and admitted as an advocate and solicitor in Malaysia.
Riza specializes in banking and finance, with particular emphasis on Islamic finance, capital market (local and international bond and Sukuk issuances), project finance, corporate banking (bilateral and syndicated loans) and investment funds. Ayoub Al Rawahi specializes in corporate-commercial law. Before joining Al Alawi & Co., he worked for two local law firms and in an international law firm in Oman. He has also trained in the Ministry of Legal Affairs and in an international law firm in Oman. The bulk of his legal practice is in corporate law, he has also some experience in litigation and ADR.
