April 27, 2009- Closure of Saudi Network Services (“SNS”) deal in Oman.

SNS, a regional giant in telecom and IT services and consultants will soon start its operation in the Sultanate of Oman. SNS has partnership with ADC, one of the major British Telecom equipment manufacturers. Besides Muscat, SNS has its global offices at, Saudi Arabia, London, Mexico, Amsterdam, Iran, U.A.E and Los Angles.

Al Alawi & Co advised SNS on inward investments, taxation, JV and telecom license. Al Alawi team was lead by Mr. Ali Khamis Al Alawi, the Managing Partner, and supported by Ayman Sabri (senior associate) Yasser Ali, Al Hassan Ali Al Alawi and others.

Closing occurred further to the signing of transaction documents on March 1, 2009 and the satisfaction of a number of conditions, including approval by the competent regulatory authorities.
