Abdel Fattah is appointed as Legal Counsel at Al Alawi & Co.

Abdel Fattah has an extensive experience in litigation affairs whether labor cases, civil cases, commercial cases, economic disputes, administrative challenges, criminal lawsuits and intellectual property disputes etc. He is experienced in preparing due diligence reports, and participated in preparing many due diligence reports for a lot of reputable and international companies. In addition, his experience also included providing legal opinions and legal advice to the inquiries from human resources or internal legal departments of companies.

Corporate:

Abdel Fattah has also an experience in corporate which includes:

1. Establishment of various forms of companies, handling with General Authority for Foreign Investment, preparing the companies’ ordinary and extraordinary general assembly meetings, and handling the related disputes in this regard.
2. Due diligence reports for numerous local and international companies.
3. Providing Legal opinions for clients’ inquiries in different aspects of law.
4. Respond to inquiries from human resources or internal legal departments of companies.

Drafting contracts

Such as management hotel agreements, selling hotels agreements, mortgage agreements, escrow agreements, and franchise agreements.

Disputes resolution

1. Handling multiple complex cases such as recovery cases and compensation cases, in addition to settling a lot of them amicably.
2. In charge of managing dispute resolution, that in despite its legal complexity, such as the international jurisdiction. The last resemble work was a dispute exceeding EUR 3,500,000 on behalf of a German bank.

Arbitration:

Before the International Chamber of Commerce and other arbitration centers, handling arbitration cases with the amount of OMR 700,000 on behalf of an entity owned by the state, and arbitration case with the amount of GBP 980,000 on behalf of an international company.

Intellectual property

Submitting petitions and filing cases related to intellectual property disputes.
